Funding Freeze Includes Payments to Keep the Flowing

The first EO signed…,"Unleashing American Energy," wouldn't seem to have a direct impact on how much water is in the Colorado River….

The order…aims to "unleash America's affordable & reliable energy & natural resources," by ending "burdensome & ideologically motivated regulations” [read: solutions & efforts]

@Nonilex the @coloradosun has been following this for a while, particularly issues around the Upper Colorado Basin. Trump removed the federal official from the Upper Colorado River Commission for no reason, and there is some doubt about whether the federal grant that would allow the River’s water to continue to freely flow through part of Glenwood Canyon would be released as planned.

@Nonilex idk. "divert" sounds awfully close to "diversity". Better be safe than sorry.

:/

@Nonilex

Donald Trump is slowly, physically and virtually, starving Americans to death. His pace will quicken.

@Nonilex Trump has already meddled with water distribution in California. Colorado water goes to 7 states, some red some blue. Rio Grande, 2 blue plus Texas. Whiskey’s for drinking & water’s for fighting. Easy to find things to worry about these days.
