This is a man who has never fed himself.
He’s been weird about this for months.
#Trump: "I inherited a groceries situation. The groceries went way up. An old fashioned word, but it's a very descriptive word."
What is he talking about?
They are literally called #grocery stores, everyone who doesn’t have butlers, maids, & chefs uses the word #groceries.
Also, everything he said about “groceries” was a lie.
@Nonilex
Remember when his staff had to surround him with prop groceries to try to get him to talk about the economy and he blathered on random other subjects anyway? Good times, good times!

@Nonilex The reason why, in modern English, "pig" = the animal and "pork" = that animal's meat is that after the Norman invasion, the Anglo-Saxon peasants who raised the animals called them "pig" while the rich French nobles who only ATE the animals called the stuff on their plates "porc" (French for "pig").
Similarly, Trump thinks the word "groceries" is "old-fashioned" because he only eats the dishes made from groceries; he's never shopped for them.
@msbellows @Nonilex This is the guy who thinks immigrants seeking asylum are FROM asylums.
@Nonilex I also liked how he sat in the driver’s seat of that Tesla like someone who has definitely not touched the steering wheel of a car since The Brady Bunch was on TV.
@Nonilex An old word, ‘inherited’ from Norman French but indisputably current. There was a marked lull in usage when he out and about engaging/evading STDs, maybe that’s why he didn’t get the memo: usage is going up.
@Nonilex The press was able to point to McCain and Romney as out-of-touch plutocrats (doesn't know how many houses he owns, owns an Olympic dancing horse) but they seemed to forget how to do it when the guy who puts his name on buildings in giant gold letters entered politics.
@Nonilex Diaper Donnie looks tired.
LOL, how better to show he’s a real down-to-earth, man-of-the-people guy than to never have said the word groceries before.
"They are literally called #grocery stores, everyone who doesn’t have butlers, maids, & chefs uses the word #groceries."
@Nonilex Perhaps he was referring to "up." It's both old and descriptive.
@jonberger @Nonilex Ha, when I first read it that is what I wondered. “Up” describes something, and “groceries” are something. What a weird, lying dotard he is.
"It's a banana, Michael. How much could it cost, $10?"
Of course, the joke's on us. In a few years' time under the Spray-on President, it just might...
he really is a fucking idiot
@samiamsam @Nonilex with delusions of intelligence.
@Nonilex he’s from Jamaica Estates in Queens county, NY. Delusional “upper class” wannabe hood
If it doesn't have arches you don't get food there.
