It’s not the #hypocrisy that bothers me; it’s the #stupidity. We’re all shocked—shocked!—that Pres Trump & his team don’t actually care about protecting #classified info or federal record retention laws. But we knew that already. What’s much worse is that top #Trump admin ofcls put our troops in jeopardy by sharing #military plans on a commercial messaging app & unwittingly invited a journalist….That’s dangerous. And it’s just dumb.

This is the latest in a string of self-inflicted wounds by the new admin that are squandering America’s strength & threatening our #NationalSecurity. Firing hundreds of #FederalWorkers charged w/protecting our nation’s #nuclear weapons is also #dumb. So is shutting down efforts to fight #pandemics just as a deadly #Ebola outbreak is spreading in Africa. It makes no sense to purge talented generals, diplomats & spies at a time when rivals like China & Russia are trying to expand their…reach.
In a dangerous & complex world, it’s not enough to be strong. You must also be #smart. As Secy of #State during the Obama admin, I argued for smart #power, integrating the hard power of our military w/the #SoftPower of our #diplomacy, development assistance, economic might & cultural #influence. None of those tools can do the job alone. Together, they make America a #superpower. The #Trump approach is #dumb power.
Instead of a strong America using all our strengths to lead the world & confront our adversaries, #Trump’s America will be increasingly blind & blundering, feeble & friendless.

Good for her! Timing is perfect . She can get under his skin like few others, and they are so far keeping mum. She calls him stupid and dumb repeatedly. Worst insult you can give the low-IQ narcissist. And coming from the WOMAN who won the pop vote agsinst him and whom he pilloried for her email server right after Signalgate breaks... he's gonna be like the velociraptor in the cage in J. Park.
