@Pineywoozle @Dunstable @RickiTarr french mustard is ok, prefer English, but mayo? To me that goes on lettuce or chicken, not ham.
A really good ham sandwich is bread, butter, ham (honey roast for me), english mustard, Cheddar cheese, butter and bread.
@Thebratdragon A good Mayo like Dukes or a Belgian one with mustard is great on ham. You should try it. LoL the ham is a soft low note & the Mayo and mustard are both sharp/acidic & creamy. It actually adds almost the same note a good cheddar does just a little sharper.
