Unfortunately there are various people -- keyboard warriors, journalists with large readership, people who did business thanks to Twitter, people who are merely stubborn, etc. -- who will not understand this.

I was suspended a few weeks ago, but the login still works so I sometimes look at Big Names that haven't moved. Today I see JoJoFromJez had her business account stolen, and twitter support isn't helping.
Seems like a cautionary tale for people who think they have to stay for business/monetization...

I don't know her numbers, but she's a good sized account. Lack of help at that scale seems pretty serious to me.
I do kinda miss her and some other irreverent lefties. I'm not sure if she would be welcomed here.

I am an IG virgin, and was hoping to stay that way, but I do see where everyone that is/was on the shitbird may need more than one place to land. Interesting times, as they say!
@timpalmer IG is really awful software. So that makes it a lot like FB that now owns it. :)
