@duskstriker - i think it goes quite far, from what i have read. Also the whole #WordPress #ActivityPub story goes to the same area, in that it can be quite Performance hungry for a Meter blog to actually deliver its message to many users just because they subscribe to it on mastodon.

#RSS is cool and much more efficient in that way. But it doesn’t have the interactivity and maybe not even the instant gratification.
