Manuel
I just found out that you need to be LOGGED OUT of your account to reset its password.

Or at least to display the "change password" form. Because if you submit the password, you get an error message saying the link has expired or has already been used. 🤦‍♂️

Manuel
5) Speaking of passwords, they restrict the _length_ of passwords

But of course they don't tell you what the maximum length of a password is.

They don't tell you that the length of the password is the issue either.

They just say "password verification did not match"

Manuel
And of course their "support" is limited to "thanks for reporting we'll look into it"

Manuel
4) To change the password of your account, you cannot do this directly in account management, instead they send you a (unencrypted, mind you) email with a password reset link ...

...

...

... which OF COURSE results in a 404 error page

Manuel
3) To log in on your TV app, they have a "link account" feature, where they display a code that you then have to enter on their website, which should then authorize your TV.

Of course this does not work, instead you just get an error message in your browser.

Manuel
2) Also, in the browser there is no viewing history whatsoever. No indication at all about what shows or episodes you have already watched.

When you navigate to a show, it will always just show Season 1.

Manuel
1) At least when viewing in the browsers, some shows have HUGE letterboxes; so on my widescreen about 20% of it is actual image, the rest is just black. No way to configure this, so all you can do is fiddle around with your browser window until the actual image more or less fills your screen.

Manuel
Due to some shows only available on Paramount+, I made an account there. And I must say, of all the streaming providers I have ever tried, they are BY far the worst!

The whole user experience is so unbelievable bad, I can only assume malicious intent; not even incompetence is capable of this.

Lemme give a few examples.

#paramount #paramountplus
