“”a journalist who covers extremism at the local level, I think it’s a mistake to view Trump’s Napoleonic statement as solely about presidential power.
“Consider if it’s interpreted as a wink and a nod for any extremist to act outside the law to ‘save’ the country as they see fit.” …
And now Trump is doubling down; yesterday he retweeted a rightwinger’s message that he could defy the courts if he chose to because he is “saving the country.”” - @ThomHartmann

Complaining about fascists while writing on Substack. #doublestandard
Substack had been hosting and profiting from pro-Nazi publications and they said it would not remove or demonetize Nazi content.

I understand your position
.
I’ll read and recommend Thom Hartman’s work wherever he publishes because his analysis is insightful and important, and people need to understand what’s happening. Connection and reach matter to defend against this fascist takeover, and if people can’t find community because every platform has Nazi’s on it, then that helps the fascists.
