@rbreich@masto.ai I think you make a lot of good points, but sometimes you completely miss the mark. This post is an example of what "progressives" get wrong about capitalism. A union is a bandage, a capitalist solution to a capitalist problem.
If your boss is an egotistical psychopath with little to no respect for life other than his own and he has power over the lives of others, you don't need a union—you need a rebellion. You need to topple that Dark Lord, and you need to dismantle the system that gave him power.
