@nickmartin I tried the alt-text thing on this post, how detailed am I supposed to get? Do I literally describe the entire joke? Does what I write follow this image everywhere?
@rukuss Hey, thank you for adding alt text! Anything is better than nothing when it comes to this. But yeah, try describe it as clearly as possible. In this case, I would keep it simple:
A meme with two columns and three rows. Text at the top reads: "HDMI kids won't understand."
The left column contains images of famous people. The right contains photos of A/V cables.
The first row shows Van Gough alongside video and left-audio cables.
The second row shows Bach alongside...
Etc.
@rukuss @nickmartin Put as much into it as you like. Consider your alt-text a picture substitute. Some people enjoy adding alt-text and find it fun challenging, while others try for the bare minimum. It's also fun reading them sometimes imo.
