@Pineywoozle @unusual_whales I’m focusing locally this year, since we have a gubernatorial race that’s wide open (Murphy is term-limited) and an Assembly up for grabs.

This is made SO much more difficult by Dem machine leaders who are in complete denial about #NewJersey trending redder in 2024, and conducting biz as usual. So it’s up to grassroots efforts, incl ATNJ, Sweep NJ (the state’s Red, Wine & Blue chapter) @indivisibleteam, etc.

@PamelaBarroway What ever it takes to get it done and not waste energy. I’m all for it. I want to start an #AfternoonNotesToAmerica and start with this one. The messages can change but the main time needs to be pretty consistent. Marches are ineffective, expensive, COVID incubators that the media barely covers. We have to wake up millions & we have to do it now. People that won’t go to a political meet up might do this. The first step is always the hardest. @unusual_whales @indivisibleteam

I am attending grassroots activism meetings primarily ATNJ / Action Together New Jersey. At one on Thursday, 115 people went, 1/3 of whom were new to the organization. (I was one of 10-15 people who masked up. )

PS Co-sign all your other sentiment re marches. They are all performative at this point.

Any chance you could talk them into having a Corsi Box or just bring one? @Pineywoozle Corsi Box is a good idea. My masks are KN-94s the Korean version of N95s, been wearing them since about 2022. The only time they let me down was when I stupidly went maskless at back to school night last October. @unusual_whales @indivisibleteam

@PamelaBarroway Corsi boxes are so easy to make and make a huge difference. I have a super comfy mask with an elastomeric gasket. The BT has been using pretty standard N95s but I want to get him one that covers his beard to put under it & get him one with a silicone gasket as well. Sorry, I’ve been under the weather pain wise, so I just saw your reply. @unusual_whales @indivisibleteam
