The US should sell off all of Its #Army equipment to Europe. The US does not need an army. For 250 years of its existence, its only been the good guys and not the oppressors 1/10th of the time. The rest of the branches, including the national guard will defend us just fine. The Army was spoken against by most of the founders, why the second amendment was created, but the #Navy is in the constitution. With a self-defense force no one can invade the Americas, there is no logistical possibility for it to happen. We can provide air support to our allies, but an army is just there to steal land replace dictators we don't like with ones we do like.
Need a strike force? We have the SEALs, The US air force is the largest air force in the world and the US Army is the second largest and the navy is the 4th largest. No one can touch our continent from outside. If we somehow do require an army, we can easily have the national guard hold a draft, and people will line up to fight if the cause is just. No more temptations to put boots on the ground ANYWHERE
Eliminating the army would cut the military budget by 1/4th that could go into so many other projects the Army is currently sucking up.
Europe however CAN be invaded by land and needs a united army badly. Selling our Army weaponry to them would boost our coffers and defend our allies.
Mind you none of this will happen unless Trump is no longer in power.
