AstaAnorher assortment of things I've sewn in the past. All but the first were made last year. 1. Another one for my niece/god(less)daughter. This one's from two years ago. Marimekko fabric was chosen by the recipient herself from an outlet and turned into a little tote bag. Crown was made with pattern and tutorial from Hobby craft, the embroidered jewels were freehanded by yours truly. 2. First time I tried making a pattern from an existing item, and it worked perfectly on the first try! I couldn't believe it, yet there it is. The cover for the footstool, that is. 3. Hoodie for my little brother's birthday. Kind of failed with this one, as I should've practiced before cutting into the expensive fabric from Mieli design, but it's wearable and that's what matters. Ann-MiFelt incredibly restless today, but I did 2 things on my <a href="https://mastoart.social/tags/sewing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#sewing</a> to do list: 1. Hem, iron, and hang up my little <a href="https://mastoart.social/tags/Marimekko" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Marimekko</a> Lumimarja fabric as a curtain for my office 2. Sew a new sewing machine dustcover from a scrap of Marimekko Tuliainen fabric. It was so small that I had to do it in several pieces and sideways. The ugly plastic dust cover that my machine came with started to disintegrate, as old plastic is wont to do. I was too impatient to do it perfectly, but at least it's done.
