In 2009 I build my first piece of furniture, this stool made of found, weathered wood. I was interested in the function of a body and its relation to the human body. since then I build more and more furnitures in my little workshop here in vienna. since some years I manufacture all these objects under the label of FAVOURITE FURNITURE REPLACEMENT.

A vintage New Yorker magazine from August 5, 1950. In the cover art by Charles Elmer Martin, we are looking down on a bustling crowd of people entering one ferry terminal and departing another. The arriving people are lining up for buses. Titles are in orange.

A children's book from 1957 entitled 'Stories California Indians Told', written by Anne B. Fisher. It was illustrated by Ruth Robbins. The cover art shows a native American boy dancing with a fox. There are also images of a frog and a fish jumping, as if they part of the dance. The boy is barefoot and shirtless, wearing ragged white pants, multiple long strings of white beads around his neck covering his chest. and a feathered hat. This is all done in shades of brown, black & white, on a sand-colored background.

A large book about antique porcelain entitled 'The James A. De Rothschild Collection at Waddesdon Manor: Sevres Porcelain'. A large blue, white and gold Sevres charger with images of birds and fruit dominates the front cover.

A children's book from 1936 entitled 'Two Little Hopi'. It was written by Elizabeth Willis De Huff. The front board is decorated with all-over birds, rabbits, dogs and other Native American pictograph-style animals in black and grey on an orange background. The lettering of the title is in an Art Deco-style typeface in grey on a black panel.

A piece of sheet music; the song 'Girl Talk', written by Neal Hefti and Bobby Troup in the 1965 film 'Harlow', which starred Carroll Baker. Ms. Baker is seen on the cover in her role as Jean Harlow, dressed in an elegant full-length white gown. Co-stars from the film - Martin Balsam, Red Buttons, Mike Connors, Angela Lansbury & Peter Lawford are seen in small photo insets to the left. Colors are red and blue on a white background.
