pʌblo :pico8:<p>Work In Progress theme for my <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/pico8" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pico8</span></a> tetris game. I'll have to try and capture at 60fps as I'm using a checkboard flicker effect on the background to give a translucent effect and it looks much cleaner than this gif. The flicker is jarring on large monitors but nice on a small handheld screen, though there will be the option to toggle it off in options.</p><p>A lot of work has gone on under the hood to clean up code and try to get tokens in a better place. Hopefully I can add a few more themes!</p>
