Can anyone explain how to pin a post?
@Jarhead80 Click on the three dots on the post and select pin on profile. Easy peas... can't say it. Its easy.

Right below your 'toot' there is a row of icons. At the end, to the right, click on the 3 dots ( ... ) & you should see 'Pin to Profile'.
I hope this is what you were looking for. I joined a few days ago, but it helps me when I can help others.
@Jarhead80 .... Hmmm, ok. It looks like you're on a phone or tablet. I'm on a laptop so we aren't looking at the same set up.

I haven't ventured onto using Mastodon on my phone yet. I guess it's time. I'll post again when I figure it out.
@Wineaux no worries. I just connected to my account through the server and I see the dots. Guess it’s not available via tablet or phone.

@Sunny05 found out it apparently only available through a PC not the app.
