I hope #KamalaHarris selects #JoshShapiro as her VP.
Not only is he an excellent speaker who has done an amazing job as Gov of #Pennsylvania, but he was a fierce defender of the #2020election / #democracy as PA #AttorneyGeneral.
Also, as a fellow prosecutor, he KNOWS #Harris. They have an actual relationship.
Shapiro’s stmnt endorsing #Harris included the following, “I’ve known Kamala Harris for nearly two decades”
#JoshShapiro just made a speech in Pittsburgh w/administrator of the #EPA, Michael Regan, to announce new investments strengthening #manufacturing that reduces #pollution & during Q&A very politically did not answer whether or not he was “interested in the job” of #VP.
Boosted a previous post about the non youth democratic mind citing my mother as an example.
Just texted her my hope for a #HarrisShapiro ticket, she replied:
“That would be nice but i think a better bet will be a white male who may be part christian or non religious & heterosexual. “
Had to tell her #JoshShapiro is hetero (IDK why she assumed otherwise) who married his HS sweetheart & has 4 kids.
Her reply?

@Pineywoozle @Nonilex I like Beto a lot but hasn't he lost three consecutive elections? I don't necessarily see her winning Texas with him as a running mate.
@TerpieCat @Nonilex He lost the last one in a squeaker. Honestly, I think he would pull Texas given what’s going on there. But more than anything it’s about how they look together and how disgustingly white middle-class, intelligent educated at Cetera he looks. She needs that on this ticket.

@WJBL I like him for this ticket more than anything else because he brings something to it. He brings her humor and still tempers it a teeny bit. He brings that wide swath of white middle-class America. He’s bright he’s funny and he cares about women. @Pineywoozle @WJBL @Nonilex I like Beto, I like Pritzker, my personal favourite is Swalwell, but I realize he probably won't fly. I'm sure people are buzzing like busy little bees drawing up shortlists and weighing up pros and cons of candidates.
@Tharpa @WJBL @Nonilex Neither of those two make her seem presidential and I like both of them but I don’t like them with Kamala when I visualize them. I don’t see their styles meshing or being complementary. I honestly think if Hill had picked someone with the charisma of Sherrod Brown, she might have beaten, the odds. It will be interesting to see who Kamala pics.
@Pineywoozle @WJBL @Nonilex I hope she puts a lot of thought into it, for picking the wrong VP could spell disaster, but this goes without saying. I'm sure the combined genius of experienced statesmen, and advisors will steer her around the jagged rocks of error, until the haven of safety is reached at last.

@MarkRDavid @Aviva_Gary unfortunately no updates since handling my sweet #BabySquirrel Ramone off. They had a lot of squirrels & said it was difficult to be certain which was which.
