FYI it was #RachelScott of #ABC that asked #Trump the first question. He continues to attack her & #ABCnews even when she isn’t the #journalist asking the question.
Appreciate the journalists who immediately & to #Trump’s face, told him that he was spreading #disinformation.
He claimed #Democrats want #abortion at 9 months & even killing the baby after it is born.
“Sir, that is illegal in all 50 states.”
[I mean seriously, why don’t *journalists* ever immediately push back on this BS? He’s been saying this crap for YEARS. Yet, this was the FIRST time I ever heard a reporter correct him]
That was a hell of a thing.

This is how every #Trump interview & debate should be conducted.
After he took his seat, #ABCNews’ Rachel Scott asked, “I want to start by addressing the elephant in the room, sir. A lot of people did not think it was appropriate for you to be here today.”
She cited numerous false claims Trump made about #Obama & #NikkiHaley, along w/other remarks attacking Black figures & people of color.
#RachelScott added, “You attack #Black #journalists calling them ‘losers,’ saying the questions that they asked are quote, ‘#stupid & #racist.’ You’ve had dinner w/a #WhiteSupremacist at Mar a Lago resort. So my question, sir, now that you are asking black supporters to vote for you, why should black voters trust you, after you have used language like that?”
#Trump responded, “Well, first of all, I don’t think I’ve ever been asked a question in such a horrible manner, first question. You don’t even say hello, how are you?”
He attacked #ABCNews as “a fake news network” & “terrible.”
He called #RachelScott’s question a “very rude introduction. I don’t know exactly why you would do something like that.”
#Trump said, “And let me go a step further. I was invited here & I was told my opponent whether it was #Biden or Kamala*, I was told my opponent was going to be here. It turned out my opponent isn’t here. You invited me under false pretenses.”

Trump later repeatedly claimed that #RachelScott asked “nasty” questions.
A lot of journos & politicos thought #Trump shouldn’t have been given the platform.
But I gotta say, I thought it was brilliant.
