#Trump Signs Order Aimed at Closing #Education Dept.
Trump signed an #ExecutiveOrder that he said would “begin eliminating the federal Department of Education once & for all,” although the agency cannot be closed without the approval of #Congress. Some critical functions, including those related to student loans & special education funding, are *expected* to continue to be run out of the reduced agency.

The one thing I was hoping for with this was for student loan debt to effectively be canceled, but I don't have any serious hope of that.

@Nonilex From bad to worse and this is nowhere near the end. All in line with Project 25 which Trump lied he knew nothing about.
@Nonilex Fascists loved to burn books, mad dictators hate education and love "panem et circensis" solutions for the people. In Spain, our old dictator used to promote football and bullfights. I guess Trump will go for the NFL and hockey wars
