We have a lot of work to do to make things better. We will, it is just hard knowing bad things will happen between now and then.
It really is. 
Task one, is waking up our neighbors who feel the same revulsion but don’t know what to do. Even the smallest step of resistance now will help, but getting people to take that first step is hard.
Some are scared, some think it only “matters” if they fly to join a big protest & can’t for what ever reason. “Standing up” where they can see us, has such value right now. @BruceMirken
