Of course the following faces an ENORMOUS difficulty, which is because IT IS THE ENTIRETY OF THEORETICAL WHO CAN GET PUBLISHED IN MAJOR JOURNALS who are the thoroughly innumerate and inept persons believing the nonsense I’m talking about here, I am unlikely even to get a reading:

OF COURSE there are physicists who know better. Most notably the late E. T. Jaynes, who no doubt found this all par for the course.

Where was Jaynes’s thorough debunking published? At an IEEE conference. (The lecture was actually on a broader topic, which was how the sciences are generally ‘innumerate’ on the topic of probability theory. It was for a bayesian methods conference.)

(Jaynes also showed that Einstein solved some problem, which he is famous for solving, the hard and not very rigorous way, because he [like most mathematically educated people] didn’t really grasp how probability theory works. Jaynes solves it in an easier way that is also far more convincing.

And Jaynes showed how to calculate a temperature as a local phenomenon, which was a totally new idea AFAIK.)

(He found that the temperatures in muscle tissue, measured in this way, were absolutely astounding. Helping to explain how the damn things can be so fricking active and strong.)
