@iuculano This is a distraction - all nonsense they're fighting over that is absolutely inconsequential. Criminals will get or make guns with impunity. It is the honest hobbyist gun owner that is now being criminalized.
If I buy two pieces of steel tube from the hardware store with one that slides inside the other and put an end cap on the bigger tube with a screw driven through it, that is a slam-fire gun. Basically a mafia bicycle-pump gun from ww2.
Similarly if I buy a piece of steel rod, drill a hole down the center with a drill press then a small hole from one side, meeting the other hole. That's a musket.
This is just nonsense designed to criminalize more honest citizens instead of getting to the root of social problems that create murderers, rapists, robbers etc.
