Good article to throw at those who argue that letting kids get infected (colds, gastroenteritis, fever episodes, acute otitis media (earache), tonsilitis, and pneumonia) is good for their immune system...
If you're so inclined to try to educate them...
Early-life infection burden continues throughout childhood, new data reveal

Mmm.
That suggests the anti-vax agenda is aimed directly at the global south.
And I use "aimed" with deliberation.
@SoftwareTheron
How does it suggest that? I don't follow...
@justyourluck
That's where the burden of infections is strongest. Therefore, that's where the potential health improvement from vaccinations is biggest.
Vaccination for "colds, gastroenteritis, fever episodes, acute otitis media (earache), tonsilitis, and pneumonia"? I think pneumonia is the only thing listed that has a vaccine available.
@justyourluck
But anti-vax is anti- *all* vaccines. What's the end result of creating that climate of opinion? We've already seen UK ethnic minorities' takeup of Covid vaccines significantly reduced.
This article is talking about *bacterial infections and antibiotics*, not vaccines.
In fact, it never even mentions vaccines, nor diseases that have vaccines available.
And unless Denmark is now considered the "global South", you're really off base with your comment.
Seems you're the one with the agenda. Keep your rhetoric off my toots please.
