How does that work in the US? Doesn't being able to pay one's taxes require one to be documented?
Nope. They just need to acquire a long retired SSAN — and then they have taxes deducted from their paychecks like everybody else. I’ve never seen the government crack down on the practice. Even the government likes free money.
As far as using public services (medical, infrastructure, etc), they actually ARE contributing/paying for the public “privileges”
