@rbreich ours is now a post-law, post rules-based order, with all meaningful checks and balances owned and controlled by unbridled wealth. The failure was ours in not understanding that billionaires were the natural outcome of unfettered markets, and in permitting them to purchase lawmakers before the lawmakers could fix the error with taxation. Dark times ahead, I fear.
