Do final profile/post edits. Export prefs. Create new acct, set prefs, import. Boost old posts? Profile redirect locks the old acct (toggle later to unlock). Move takes days.
As followers move, their lists lose your acct.

30 day cooldown applies only to the old acct: as in moving followers multiple times from the original server. Unlikely?
You can quickly move again from the *new* server. I'd wait for all followers to arrive first.

Two oft-conflated terms:
* Redirect—Locks the old account & says on your profile where you went.
* Move—Does a redirect *and* gradually transfers followers (has cooldown).
