Judge declines to block #ElonMusk $1M voter lottery
A PA state judge said Thurs he would not immediately move forward w/a suit that seeks to stop #Musk's $1M voter giveaway ahead of the Nov 5 #election.
Judge Foglietta said he would place the lawsuit on hold while a federal court considers whether to take up the case.
Musk's bid to move the case frees him to continue the giveaway, because the matter likely won't be resolved until after Tue's election.

#ElonMusk has so far given ~$120M to America PAC, acc/to federal disclosures, & the group has taken on much of the door-knocking work of ensuring #Trump's supporters turn out to vote.
Musk became an outspoken Trump supporter this year & has promoted Trump on his #X social media platform. Researchers said on Wed that X has been ineffective in countering a surge in #election #disinformation.
Trump in turn has said that if elected, he would appoint #Musk to head a govt efficiency commission.

@Nonilex “My billionaire client is too busy to attend your petty little court, your honor”. Imagine if a black teenager did that over a speeding ticket. Billionaires shouldn’t exist. Why should his hours be “worth” more than that teenager’s? Both are subject to the law equally, right? Money doesn’t make you a better human, or give you more rights or more votes, right? Billionaires xor democracy. Pick one.
