@Nonilex We really need to redefine this process, so it's once again about people letting the government know whom they want to represent them. Modernization we may want to introduce is making sure that every person's vote at the polls is weighed truly equally. Modernization we may want to shun is litigation being able to play a defining role in the process. Just thinking out loud here.
