I'm not sure I ever successfully printed anything close to this in this orientation on a bed slinger, but this handled it without breaking a sweat.
It's a magnet dispenser for 5x3mm magnets. Of course the original reason I got this size of magnets is no longer relevant, but I have them, so I'll make use of them.
@jimp nice & clean 3DPrint but yes prusa’s from prusa research are known for clean #3DPrinting
@Timpostma Indeed, they are. That was one of the main factors in choosing this particular printer. It's a whole different world coming from 7-8 year old Monoprice and Creality printers. Not just because technology advanced, but everything about it.
@jimp kind sir you have a valid point
@jimp personally i just want a functional part from a reliable 3d printer I can trust my choice is a @LulzBot #3dprinting Workhorse plus
@jimp
Dunno if I would have tempted fate by posting before it was done.
@FritzAdalis I try not to tempt fate too much -- It ended successfully just before I posted, it was nearly done when I took the video.
@jimp I’m waiting for the kit to be available and tested before ordering. My MK4S is still good, but I’d love to regain some real estate on my workbench.
I’m also hoping Prusa will either come out with a second tool head or a design to have the entire MMU3 on top of the CoreOne.
@teotwaki They posted an image of a prototype MMU setup for Core One with it on top, hopefully that pans out. I'm eagerly waiting for that as well but I was not going to hold back on getting the printer just for that, since I needed a new printer either way.
Someone posted yesterday saying the kits were ready but the build guide wasn't done yet, but should be very close.
