Found a spool of filament I had stored somehow got cracked. Filament itself is still good, but I should probably move it to a different spool. Problem is the only types of spool transfer/winders I can find are:

1. Too simple. Nothing more than a way to attach a spool to a drill, which would work, but likely messy.

2. Too large/complex. Takes up way too much space and/or uses tons of extra hardware I'd have to order and then I'd have to find a place to store it.

@jimp

I'd first dry that filament before you do any more spooling.

Check out the V-Spooler. Make sure to re-spool twice tho, otherwise you'll end up with more rolls of exploded filament.

@fribbledom v-spooler is one I looked at, took too much hardware I didn't already have on hand.

Filament was already in the dryer before I posted. It was OK, though. It was stored in a zipper bag in an air-tight container with desiccant, plus was still bendy and not brittle, but I wasn't taking chances.

I have several empty spools so re-spooling twice is no problem, plus I plan on doing it straight out of the dryer so it will still be slightly warm/pliable
