Found a spool of filament I had stored somehow got cracked. Filament itself is still good, but I should probably move it to a different spool. Problem is the only types of spool transfer/winders I can find are:
1. Too simple. Nothing more than a way to attach a spool to a drill, which would work, but likely messy.
2. Too large/complex. Takes up way too much space and/or uses tons of extra hardware I'd have to order and then I'd have to find a place to store it.
@jimp In what manner is the spool cracked? If the center core is cracked, see if you have something that will fit inside and can act like a bushing, which would help it roll on a peg better. If it's the outside edge and needs to roll on that edge, glue a disc to the outside to smooth out the rolling.
@sgsax It's along the side, goes from an edge and down at an angle and around but doesn't reach the center (yet). I put some tape on it to stabilize it for now. I don't trust the spool, though, I'd rather transfer it than patch it.
