Most consumers of healthcare have no concept of what nurses do, what happens to them when nurses are understaffed and must cut corners just to get meds out. People are dying and experiencing serious life altering complications of hospitalization because of this. People need to wake the heck up and start supporting their lifelines, their nurses.
PS. I’ve wanted to conduct a retrospective meta analysis of hospital deaths with two end points; death as a result of disease progression or death as a result of inadequate care. I think y’all would be stunned with the results
