The U.S. CDC recently announced that it would begin research to examine whether #childhood #vaccines are linked to #autism.
This decision implies that we still don’t have enough information to determine whether the two are linked. But this is far from the case.

There have already been dozens of studies that investigated whether vaccines are associated with autism.
If vaccines did cause autism, we would expect to see an association between the two
But no such association has been detected in these studies, which speaks against this hypothesis
Prominent individuals, including U.S. President Trump, cited a rise in autism diagnoses in recent years as a sign that something’s wrong with children’s health. This phenomenon has been commonly cited to imply that the childhood vaccination schedule is a potential cause.
