I saw some '#Townhall
Among ' #Maga #GOP #Representatives' and their #Constituency
(people who elected them to be >represented<)

One of the #MAGA Rep. said that 'She was not in agreement' with the requests of his Constituency
(who care if you agree ? you job is to represent)
Another, to the request of his Constituency to intervene against #musk
replied 'I support Musk'

But ...
if these #MAGA 'representatives' do not represent who voted them to be represented ...

shouldn't they resign?

I currently live in Michigan's 10th district, our US Rep is Republican John James, who refuses to hold a town hall, so the Dems are holding one instead.

Despite scheduling it for the same day and time as the Tesla Takedown protest today, all 644 seats are full.

Disclaimer: I do not think the Democratic party can get us out of this mess.

The weirdest part, watching Americans get dragged away from town hall meetings is this:

Nobody stands up for the person being dragged away. They just film it.

What’s up with that?

I mean sure, it’s not like everybody steps up here in Europe either. But i’ve been to a lot of demonstrations and some of those got hairy with the cops. And there’s always some part of people that go in there to block the cops.

Yes, it takes guts. But all people? Am I just not seeing it? 🤔

and once again, this time in Ohio

the Maga Reps are afraid of their own fellow citizens and are too cowardly to face critical questions in the city halls.
