I'm reading #WhiteTiger by Aravind Adiga now and in it, there's this comparison of "democratic" India and "communist" China images with a tone of sarcasm. I'm yet to finish it, so no idea how the author concludes that but so far, it reminded me of another one: The 2016 film, "The Net" by the Korean director Kim Ki-duk. There's a similar comparison b/w North and South Koreas in it; finding more similarities than differences. #freedom #democracy
